Jin Yun

Korean born clarinetist Jin Yun received his Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees from Boyer College of Music and Dance, Temple University, under the tutelage of Ricardo Morales, the Principal Clarinetist of Philadelphia Orchestra. He earned his Doctoral of Music degree from Florida State University College of Music where he studied with Dr. Deborah Bish and Dr. Jonathan Holden.

An experienced orchestral clarinetist, Dr. Yun has performed with orchestras throughout the United State, Asia, and Europe. He has also performed in prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and Kimmel Center in Philadelphia. Currently, he is a clarinetist of Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra and frequently performs with a variety of groups including Jacksonville Symphony, Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra, and Mobile Symphony Orchestra.

Dr. Jin Yun is an F. Arthur Uebel Artist performing on Zenit Bb/A and Emperior Bass clarinets.
