Your F. Arthur Uebel clarinet was made ​​by master craftsmen from selected, long standing grenadilla wood. Assembly

To facilitate assembly, apply some cork grease on all cork pivots.

With a slight twisting motion, insert the barrel on the top joint of the clarinet. Make sure that you do not press too hard on the keys.

In the same way connect the top piece with the bottom piece. When assembling the top and bottom piece make sure that both roller keys (B and cis-) and the G-sharp key do not touch.

Assemble bottom piece and bell with slight twisting motions.

Carefully twist and turn the mouthpiece on the barrel. Make sure that the flat side of the mouthpiece and the underside of the clarinet are aligned.

Use the ligature to fasten the reed in this position. The reeds tip must not be damaged in any way.

Your clarinet is now ready to play.

Care Instructions

To avoid cracks you should not expose the clarinet to neither extreme drought or heat. Optimal is a temperature of 20 ° C and 40-60% humidity. Should your clarinet, despite all precautions, happen to get cracked, with expertly executed repair this will have no effect on intonation, sound quality, nor the playability.

Keep your reeds safely in a suitable reed Case. All Vandoren reeds are delivered in a suitable single case.

After playing you should wipe the keys with a cloth. If they are heavily-soiled or tarnished, please use the enclosed silver cloth.

After playing wipe the inner bore of the clarinet with the swab to remove the moisture.
